Publishing and promoting wonderful, creative people and their businesses makes us happy. Our international team spans three continents. Projects, on-site project management and in person training have been provided in New Mexico, New York, Singapore, Australia, Mexico, Spain and South Korea.
Lisa Madison is a multi-media Impact Producer and documentary filmmaker living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She creates and distributes moving documentary films in conjunction with powerful grassroots campaigns to inspire audiences to engage and advance important social issues.
Since getting her MA in Media Studies at the New School in NYC, Lisa has worked at the intersection of online organizing and documentary film. In 2010, Lisa developed an entirely new model for grassroots distribution of documentary films using online political organizing tools such as Salsa and NationBuilder with the intention of helping films become tools for activism and social change. She has served as Campaign Director and Distribution Coordinator for a number of social action documentary films, starting with the food film Fresh (2009), the Distribution & Social Action Director for both Seeds of Time (2013) by Academy-award nominated Producer & Director Sandy McLeod and A Small Good Thing (2015) by Academy-award Winning Producer Pamela Tanner Boll. Lisa most recently served as VP of Impact and Distribution for Square Zero Films, working on projects ranging from Soufra, a film about a group of refugee women who start a food truck to Storied Streets, about homelessness in America. |
Mari is a bilingual marketing and communications professional with a unique background that includes attending both philosophy (St. John's College, Santa Fe) and business schools (Universidad del Valle de Mexico, Constanza Business & Protocol School, Madrid, Spain).
After more than a decade working in marketing and managing nonprofit organizations, Mari founded the Angulo Marketing & Design firm, driven by purpose and committed to amplifying the impact of Changemakers. In 2016, the Santa Fe Community Foundation identified Mari as an Emerging Social Sector Leader. Since then, Mari has also served as a panelist for the New Mexico Arts Division grants. She is a multi-year recipient of media, design, and communication awards from New Mexico and the National Federation of Press Women. Being uniquely qualified to bring business and marketing expertise to purpose-driven sectors, she's led nonprofits to expand capacity in their business and marketing systems. Her client portfolio includes international cause-driven activist influencers, as well as local organizations such as the New Mexico Wildlife Federation, Stop Forever WIPP Coalition, New Mexico Center for Therapeutic Riding, Pro Musica, Santa Fe Youth Symphony Association, New Mexico Book Association, and the Nacha Mendez Scholarship for NM Girls of Color, among others. |
Janet Angulo is a designer and media professional living in Seoul, South Korea. She received her bachelor’s in liberal arts from St. John's College in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Currently she's completing a master’s in Design Management at Hongik University International Design School for Advanced Studies.
As part of her coursework, she has led industry-academic projects with Korean businesses, including human-centered design research with Samsung Electronics’ Experience and Innovation Lab. The focus was to develop the products of the future based on current lifestyle and consumer patterns. Her work with Mango Moon Media includes everything from copywriting and social media planning to graphic and web design as well as video production. She enjoys helping clients find their voice and clarify their brand messaging. In her free time she loves to cook, play soccer, and find unique cafes around Seoul. |
Angeline is an experienced communicator and content creator with a multicultural background. With over six years of experience as a dynamic communications and social media specialist, she has honed her skills working in the fashion industry and collaborating with nonprofit organizations to uplift and empower women and youth.
Her accomplishments include successful fundraising and brand awareness campaigns for organizations in Indonesia and Australia. She has also executed viral marketing campaigns for international brands like Estee Lauder and Australian government initiatives. Angeline has been recognized as one of Western Australia magazine’s “Best and Brightest,” a “Young Social Pioneer” by the Foundation for Young Australians, and a nominee for Perth Fashion Festival’s “Best Blogger” category. Passionate about purpose-driven projects, Angeline believes in making a positive impact in the community. When she's not working, she explores Madrid's culinary scene, enjoys playing padel, and discovering charming villages in Spain. |
Marty Gerber had a long career with newspapers large and small as a writer, editor, manager, and owner before founding Terra Nova Books with a partner in 2011. He also has been a realtor, legal assistant, and instructor in journalism at New York University and the University of Arizona. As a volunteer, activities have included being a Big Brother, Little League coach, skiing instructor for the developmentally disabled, tutor at the Santa Fe Youth Shelter, and guide/naturalist at a state nature reserve. He has served on the boards of the New Mexico Book Association and the Santa Fe ACLU, and is currently a CASA volunteer and New Mexico state coordinator for Braver Angels, the leader in the national movement to build a common ground across our country’s partisan divide.

Meet Miriam Zavala, our dynamic Social Media Content Creator at Mango Moon Media. With roots on the Arizona-Sonora border, Miriam blends Mexican and American influences, infusing her work with a rich cultural tapestry.
Honing design skills at a bilingual newspaper, Miriam isn't just a content creator – she's a storyteller weaving messages into every design. Her diverse experience includes crafting impactful advertising and marketing campaigns that resonate with varied audiences. Beyond marketing, Miriam is a dedicated advocate, playing a vital role in incorporating migrant/refugee kids into a long-term foster care facility in the U.S. She contributed her skills to the Mexican Consulate in Tucson, managing social media accounts and facilitating cross-cultural connections through translation work. Currently based in Madrid, Miriam balances academia as an English teacher assistant and a Master's degree student in School Management and Bilingual Education. Her commitment to education seamlessly aligns with her role as a Social Media Content Creator, bringing a unique blend of creativity and strategic thinking to elevate our digital presence. |
Luis Zazueta is a data analyst and project manager at Mango Moon. Having worked in advertising for several years, he understands the importance of data and its connection to success.
His client facing work involves making sure the team is well poised to complete projects in a timely and efficient matter. His data work at Mango Moon consists of collecting, inputting and analyzing data that will drive decision making for our clients. He also focuses on SEO to enhance website visibility. In his free time he enjoys trying new foods, playing soccer and traveling.
