Part of our work with the Santa Fe Youth Symphony Association is helping them get ready for their concerts—which is super fun because it means lots of design opportunities.
The Youth Symphony has many students and groups that needed to be showcased throughout this program. We chose a color-blocking layout that allowed us to feature a lot of text on each page by breaking it into sections and integrating photos. We worked with using different opacities of color backgrounds, and photos with color overlays to create some dimension between pages.
Projects like this allow us to really work on problem solving—mainly how to get all the information on the page in a way that is visually appealing, and easy to read. This project was fun, challenging, and rewarding. I was really happy to see how it all came to life on the pages. Flip through a digital copy of the program below to see for yourself!
